With early imported NSR's the easiest way to restrict them was to pack the throttle slide with washers. This stopped the throttle ever being opened fully. It can easily be removed by taking off the higher 2 pieces of large fairing, turning the fuel tap to off then disconnecting the tank, and removing it. Two small screws hold the top plate in place and the cable can be removed by giving it plenty of slack then pushing up part number 22. The washers should then fall into your hand. Put back together in reverse order.
